People-like view

Purpose:

1. BP-Modelling Processing: Simplified Graphical Representation

The system shall use a simple graphical notation with few notation elements that can be easily learned. The goal is to make the system easy to use for the public administration personnel.

2. Simplified Graphical Notation

The system should allow usage of e.g. Abstract notation language concept to enable adaptation of notation based on user skill level. As the stakeholders using the system will have different skill levels, a functionality is needed to enable (at least on the object level) update of the notation based on the preferences of the user.

3. BP-Modelling in Graphical Notation

Business process model should be specified using graphical notation. Graphical representations are better to comprehend, as epitomized by the widely-used proverb, ‘‘a picture is worth a thousand words''. Scope:

The scope of the implementation targets to represent process/technical elements in the business modeltype in a people oriented view.

Target System:
ADOxx 1.3UL1

Functional Requirements Specification:

The system shall provide the ability to switch between a business process/technical view and a people oriented view. Therefore, one has define two graphical notations.

  • Business process related view

Like the graphical notations, which are defined in the omg.org specifications

  • People oriented view 

Comics representing the several task types.

Non-Functional Requirements Specification:

In order to switch between the two model views, the system shall provide a menu item "Switch 'People-like view' on/off" to change the graphical representations of the instances.
